* An email invitation to join the class group will be sent earlier before the class in plenty of time for you to

download the Zoom app and find our class. This app does not cost anything to use. 

1. Please warm yourself up well at home. Online classes may only include a moderate warm-up if any.

2. Be somewhere in your home where your internet connection is the strongest.

3.  Please find a private place to work. Class work is private and even online we should treat it that way without anyone else in your household listening in or viewing the work. Everyone is on the honor system to protect the privacy of your fellow students.

4. Please be without distractions. If you cannot do the class without interruptions, we recommend passing on it, or if you have an obligation in your home like a child or loved one, just log off the class midway if necessary. Parents who wish to be close by, please feel free while allowing sufficient privacy for your Teen to participate on their own.

IMPORTANT RULE:

* Our same rules regarding privacy we adhere to inside the studio apply online and we do not want any of what we are working on to be posted online or shown to anyone who is not in class. Please refrain from screen shots or recording of our session.

Please read over the set of sides below. Prepare any of the roles you wish and do

not worry about gender or age just choose the one you are drawn to.

The sides will be used to teach a larger lesson about preparing for auditions and what to look for.

This class has a guest instructor. Studio Co-Executive Director John Stoneburner

will be doing a special class on the basics of the acting industry, along with how to

prepare for auditions. If you have any specific questions for this class, feel free to have

those ready to ask of John.

TO VIEW YOUR CLASS WORK VIDEOS AND NOTES IN THE GALLERY, CLICK HERE.

Please have a monologue no more than 1.5 minutes long prepared for this class. It should be a piece from a film or television show. Do a character you are drawn to even if it a different gender or age. If you attended class on the 8th, please bring one of the monologues you worked in those classes back. If you did not attend a class this month yet, please start with a new one.

We will be working on sensory exercises for the majority of the class and then incorporating the monologues into that work for a little bit.

Please continue to rehearse the monologue below. You will be doing some specific exercises with it. Be as familiar as you can with the piece and have it with you in class. If this is your first week with this monologue just begin preparing it to work in class.
